Amaco Artist's Choice Camel Brush-on Glaze

Amaco Camel is a warm, dark, fluid goldenrod glazes reminiscent of toasty reduction high fire glazes with beautiful effects that can be achieved at low temperatures. This glaze is formulated to allow the clay body to show through where there is texture and looks dramatically different on red ware and white ware.

• Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1021°C to 1062°C (cone 4/5)
• Designed for use on textured surfaces. They are glazes that have the effect of breaking and pooling on the tissue.
• Can be fired over any earthenware clay, however they look their best over dark or red firing clay.

Good to know:

• Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
• Fire in an oxidation kiln.
• They have the appearance of oxidation baking.
• Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
• The colour in the clay will partially show through the texture and add another colour dimension to the glaze.
• Simple to apply for both beginners and advanced potters.
