Spectrum ash layering blueberry ash brush-on glaze. The ash glazes are not designed to cover entire surfaces. The glaze is intended to be used as a single coat on the top or rim of vertical surfaces and allowed to run and intermix with other glazes on the piece and create an exciting and fascinating colour variation and effect.

  • Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1160°C to 1240°C (cone 4/6)
  • Oxide based and therefore will create fascinating new colours when overlapped with other glazes.
  • They can be used with cone 03-05 bisque ware. They mature at cone 4-6.
  • Always test new glazes and combination glazes.

Good to know:

  • Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
  • Apply 3 coats to low fired bisk or one coat over another glaze.
  • Will run on vertical surface so make sure to have a sacrifice tray or apply on the top half of your pot.
  • Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
  • Simple to apply for both beginners and advanced potters.
