Tiranti High Temp Orange Powdered Stain/Underglaze

Tiranti High Temp Orange Powdered Stain/Underglaze

SKU: 806-208

High temp orange stain can be fired up to 1300°C except those marked EW which are stable up to 1140°C but change colour tone above this. All colours in powder form.

Underglaze colours may be applied onto clay ware (green hard), or onto biscuit ware using water-based media. Mixing of colour and media must be very thorough and is best achieved by working the colour into media using a palette knife in a rubbing or lapping action. If sufficient flux is added, colours and stains can be made self-glazing and matt colours developed. Powder colours mixed with a water-based underglaze media provide the cheapest and most usual way of applying underglaze decoration.

All powdered colours are manufactured to a stringent safety standard, but usual precautions should be taken as with any ceramic material in powder form.

Contains: Zirconium/Cadmium (encapsulated) Zr/Cd.
