Tiranti Turquoise Powdered Stain
Turquoise powder stain can be fired up to 1300°C except those marked EW which are stable up to 1140°C but change colour tone above this. All colours in powder form.
Glaze & body stains are normally used for the preparation of coloured glazes (5-8%) or coloured slips (10-18%). During preparation they should be sieved through 120's mesh. Stains can be adapted for underglaze or majolica use by adding flux (usually a frit such as 2263 or a small amount of transparent glaze).
All powdered colours are manufactured to a stringent safety standard, but usual precautions should be taken as with any ceramic material in powder form.
Contains: Vanadium (Va).
