Shop Pay Installments lets customers pay for certain orders in installments payments, which offers our customers more flexible payment options.
Shop Pay Installments offers eligible customers the option to pay for their order in installments at checkout. Shop Pay Installments is available to eligible online stores in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Orders between the following amounts, depending on your store’s location, are eligible for installments payments:
- £50 to £30,000 GBP in the United Kingdom, including discounts, shipping, and taxes. When you view a Product on our Website, the headline price you see will be the total cash price of the Product excluding VAT. Unless stated otherwise, the price will include VAT at checkout but not potential local import taxes for which you may be liable.
Customers in the United Kingdom can choose from the following payment options at checkout, depending on their order amount:
- Three interest-free payments for orders from £50 to £999.99 with the initial payment due at checkout.
- Monthly interest-bearing payments for order from £150 to £30,000. APR ranges up to 35.99% APR with a 22% Representative APR. Orders paid for in monthly installments can be paid in 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 months depending on the purchase amount. A down payment may be required.
- If an order exceeds £17,500, the customer pays a down payment for the remaining balance upfront. For example, if the order total is £20,000, then the customer pays £2,500 upfront, and the remaining £17,500 is split into equal, interest-bearing, monthly payments.
