Similar in texture to a worn stone found at the bottom of a river, Blue Stone carries a softness that is visible in its smooth blue-green matte colour. The different shades of green feather into dark blues when applied over texture wares.

  • Easy to use in a broad firing range from 1184°C to 1240°C (cone 5/6)
  • Firing range apply 3 coats to bisk.
  • Looks great on Amaco Celadon (3 coat/3 coat)
  • Mixable colours for custom palette.
  • Always test new glazes and combination glazes.

Good to know:

  • Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
  • Fire in an oxidation kiln.
  • Works well over stoneware or porcelain clays.
  • Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
