Botz Clear Crackle Stoneware Brush-on Glaze
Botz liquid brush-on stoneware 9878 clear crackle is a glossy transparent glaze with a crackle mesh. The glaze has an excellent surface quality, 1220°– 1280°C simply perfect to create tableware items.
- Apply 2-3 coats (better with 3 coats). For best results allow the glaze to dry for a day before firing.
- Ideal firing temperature 1250°C / holding time: 30 min and stable in the firing range 1220°-1280°C.
Good to know
- Ready mixed brush-on glaze.
- Cracks often form only after cooling, sometimes the crackle net is only fully formed after a week.
- Colouring the cracks (after cooling): e.g. rub with strong black tea or ink and wipe off.
- Suitable for Stoneware.
- Non-toxic (lead-free) Not suitable for eating and drinking utensils Please follow manufacturer instructions.
- Simple to apply for both beginners and advanced potters.
