Botz Pro Saphire Blue Brush-on Glaze

A beautiful brush-on glaze that exudes and air of tranquillity with a medium-to-dark vivid-blue glassy semi-transparent look.  You will love using the Botz Pro 9306 Saphire Blue glaze to create your pottery pieces. The glaze can be used for all your pottery needs, to create beautiful stoneware, tableware, and earthenware masterpieces. Botz recommend (from 1200°C) in high firing for tableware, clays are almost always sintered and hence the dishes are suitable for food, so therefore the glaze can be applied to your tableware without any worries.

Extremely easy to use in a broad firing range from 1020°C to 1280°C (cone 05-04 to cone 8-9)

• At 1050°C the glaze is very colourful and almost opaque. Apply 2-3 glazing coats.
• At 1150°C the glaze is vibrant in colour with a semi-transparent surface. Apply 2 glazing coats.
• At 1250°C the glaze is glassy, semi-transparent with intensive pastel shades, which is fabulous on porcelain clay. Apply 2 glazing coats.

• Works in combination with underglaze colours.
• Colours can be mixed to create a unique palette.
• Will flow more at a higher temperature.
• Suitable for Earthenware, Stoneware, Porcelain
