Botz Salamander Stoneware Brush-on Glaze

Botz liquid brush-on stoneware 9892 salamander is a silky glossy, black-ground stoneware glaze with fine, often ring-shaped, mustard-yellow effects.

The glaze has an excellent surface quality, 1220°– 1280°C simply perfect to create tableware items.

• Apply 2-3 coats (better with 3 coats). For best results allow the glaze to dry for a day before firing.
• Ideal firing temperature 1250°C / holding time: 30 min and stable in the firing range 1220°-1280°C.
• At 1220°C Salamander effect when applied 3 times.
• At 1250° Salamander effect when applied 3 times.
• At 1280°C silky matt black with very nice orange-brown effects, apply only 2 times, with thicker application running effects.
