Ceradel Black Ice Porcelain Clay
Black Ice is a black porcelain noted for its beautiful black graphite. It has high plasticity, which makes it ideal for wheel-throwing and modelling. Its formula is very stable and provides a secure firing range between 1200 and 1250°C (oxidizing atmosphere).
- Firing range: 1200-1250°C.
- Biscuit temperature: 1000°C.
- Plasticity: 11.
- Drying shrinkage: 5.1%
- Firing shrinkage (1220§C): 10.2%.
- Porosity (water absorption at 1220°C): 0.0%.
- Suitable for tableware (food-safe), according to ISO 6486:1999.
- 10kg bag.

This body requires a Zinc-Free Transparent Glaze to maintain the strong black colour.
