David Leach Translucent Porcelain Clay
This is the original recipe body developed by David Leach. It is established at the finest porcelain body. This plastic throwing clay produces a white translucent ware of superb quality. Suitable for both oxidizing and reduction firing, it produces notably good results from reduction firing. Suitable for throwing, casting, machine making, flower making and fine sculpture.
- Temperature Range 1220 - 1270°C.
- Shrinkage (w-f) 16% at 1222°C
- 0.32% expansion at 500°C.
- Texture (1-smooth 10 coarse) 1.
- Fired colour: Very White / Translucent.
