Earthstone Flecked clay performs every bit as well and is just as responsive to work with, the only difference is that this clay has an attractive speckle even under oxidation. ES90 is perfect for anyone wanting to achieve a reduction effect in an ordinary electric kiln. Suitable for throwing, sculpture, and tile making.
- Temperature Range 1200 - 1300°C.
- Shrinkage (w-d) 3 – 5%
- Shrinkage (d-f) 10- 12%
- 0.27% expansion at 500°C.
- Texture (1-smooth 10 coarse) 6.
