Kilncare Ikon V100 104 Litre Top Loading Kiln

The Kilncare IKON range are truly premium top loading kilns. The V100 kiln is ideal for all private users, studios, schools, and colleges. The IKON has many features that are options elsewhere, as standard, and is made from the highest quality materials here in Stoke on Trent, U.K. The kiln is constructed with a K23, low thermal insulation brick interior with high grade body soluble fibre and Micropore "super" insulation. The chamber and lid are 304 grade stainless steel, sitting on and supported by a powder coated "skeleton" frame with high-capacity castors, which are swivel and lockable at the front.

• Three-layer efficient insulation comprising of 75mm K23 grooved insulation brick and backed up with high grade body soluble fibre and Micropore insulation board.
• Three-layer lid seal comprising of a lid insert machined into the lid brick, a brick-to-brick seal, and a soft fibre outer seal.
• Kanthal A1 elements sit within the grooved brickwork of the side walls with retaining pegs to prevent unwelcome element "drooping".
• Adjustable lower inlet and adjustable, shutter upper exhaust vent. (Optional 80mm tube adaptor for upper vent exhaust flue connection).

• Dual contactors and SSR with over temperature monitoring provide protection against overfires, when used with Kilncare kiln controllers.
• Type R thermocouple for accuracy and longevity of use.
• Dual lid catches with padlock facilities to prevent unauthorised opening of the kiln.
• No hot vent bungs to handle or break as upper and lower vents are fitted with adjustable shutters.
• All Ikon kilns are ROHS and WEEE compliant.

Includes the U.K. built KCR32C Controller:

• KCR32C has 32 programs each with 32 segments, each segment comprises of a ramp speed, a target temperature and a hold period and can be either cooling or heating segments.
• The controller will show the power used by the kiln during a firing making for easy firing costings. Optional KCR32CWIFI is as KCR32C, but with WIFI access facility. 
  Once added to a WIFI network, the kiln can be accessed via the GATEway app/ website.
• It can also be used in a very simple manner with ease for the most basic of firings or is capable of very complex cycles if required.
• Ideally suited to glass and pottery applications, with many scientific and industrial heat treatment applications.
