Mayco Stoneware Brown Gloss Brush-on Glaze

Mayco’s SW-513 Brown Gloss Brush-on Glaze is a glossy, opaque, rich brown glaze that is highly pigmented and formulated for stable design work at midrange temperatures and above cone 6 oxidation. Cone 10 colour shifts to olive brown. The glaze remains stable.

Stoneware Gloss Glazes can be used in design, all over coverage and are the ideal product for intermix ability at mid-range and high-fire temperatures. The integrity of your design will remain unchanged as these glazes are incredibly stable and will not move or combine with surrounding colours. 

Good to know:

• Mayco's Stoneware glazes are formulated to be friendly to the user in application and firing.
• This glaze is stable, even with heavy application. Can be mixed with other Stoneware Gloss glazes (SW-500 series) to produce additional stable and opaque colours. Layer design work with other Stoneware Gloss series colours to create crisp images that won’t blur or require a clear glaze.
• Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
• Designed to fire to cone 6 (approx. 1230°C.)
• Successfully used at cone 10, oxidation or reduction
• Glazes will move to create interest and visual appeal without running off your ware and ruining your kiln shelves.
