Noris Blattgold Transfer Aluminium Leaf Gilding

Noris Blattgold Transfer Aluminium Leaf Gilding

SKU: 517-152

Genuine aluminium metal beaten incredibly finely to form gossamer thin sheets for gilding. This leaf is supplied as transfer leaf and each leaf of gold is pressed lightly to a piece of backing paper.

With aluminium leaf being so thin, its thickness is measured as the weight of the metal per thousand leaves.  Our aluminium leaf is available in booklets of 25 leaves, standard booklet size is 140 x 140mm.

Aluminium leaf contains a high percentage of silver and will tarnish, any application of this leaf will require protection. We recommend sealing it with a high-quality acrylic sealer.
