Potterycrafts Fireworker 250 litre front loading kiln is based on a more traditional front-loading kiln. The kiln is ideal for all private users, studios, schools, and colleges where reliability and durability are essential. The kiln is constructed from a durable low thermal insulation brick with two high grade backup insulation boards all enclosed within a robust high quality pressed steel and powder coated frame.

  • Two-layer efficient insulation comprising of the highest quality grooved insulation brick and backed up with high grade insulation board.
  • Brick to brick door seal (no fibre seals which deteriorate) with a flush fit for better heat retention.
  • Kanthal A1 elements sit within the grooved brickwork of the side walls and the floor of the kiln to allow uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber.
  • Door Spy Hole/vent and flue vent with manual damper as standard (automated damper can be added at extra cost)

  • Ready to be fired on 3 phase and neutral, or single phase (by simply adding a link bar at the point of connection.
  • Supply Required for Single Phase - 40 amps.
  • Supply Required for 3 Phase and Neutral - 15 amps per phase.
  • Warranty Period: 2 years (excluding elements)

 Safety feature:

  • Dual contactors and over temperature monitoring provide protection against overfires, when used with Potterycrafts kiln controllers.
  • Type R thermocouple for accuracy and longevity of use.
  • Roof and door vent as standard for venting the kiln during firing and to aid cooling.
  • Captive interlock safety switch, meaning the kiln will not turn on unless this is locked and in place, ensuring the highest level of safety.
  • All Potterycrafts kilns are ROHS and WEEE compliant.

  • The controller is the latest development in a long series of controllers. Incorporating new software giving improved efficiency and ease of programming together with up-to-date safety and diagnostic features.
  • CERA-10+ has 32 programs each with 32 segments, each segment comprises of a ramp speed, a target temperature and a hold period and can be either cooling or heating segments. This is the ultimate controller offering every option that might be required. It can also be used in a very simple manner with ease for the most basic of firings. Ideally suited to glass and pottery applications, with many scientific and industrial heat treatment applications.
