Potterycrafts Nordic Ferrous Glade Brush-on Glaze
The beautiful Nordic Ferrous Glade glaze is brown with hints of deep brown and white. The glaze has been specially developed by Potterycrafts in Stoke-on-Trent to bring reactive glazes to our customers. A diverse array of outcomes can be produced from the same glaze by differing the application style and variable glaze thickness in this brush on glaze. The glaze can be over laid to create unique glazing results. Different rates of heating and cooling within the firing can achieve an array of outcomes, especially on embossed ware.
Extremely easy to use in a broad firing range from 1200°C to 1240°C (cone 5/6)
Good to know:
- Works well over stoneware or porcelain clays.
- Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
- Tile fired on white stoneware to 1220°C – 20-minute soak.
- Vertical for fired on standard porcelain - 1240°C.
- Simple to apply for both beginners and advanced potters.
