Potterycrafts Topworker professional top loading kilns are designed and made in the heart of "The Potteries" Stoke on Trent UK. The TL225 kiln has a capacity of 225 litres, this model of kiln is ideal for professional studios, schools and colleges working on a medium to large scale. Our topworker kiln is constructed with a two-layer efficient insulation comprising of the highest quality insulation brick and ceramic blanket and is enclosed within a high grade folded stainless steel outer frame with spring loaded tension clamps to enable the kiln to always be kept ridged throughout its lifetime. • 108mm Super-efficient Ultralite granular insulation for the floor of the kiln
• Grooved elements for equalised heating throughout the firing chamber
• Type R thermocouple for accuracy and longevity of use.
• Gas spring assistance to make lid opening and closing an easy process
• Three support bricks are in the base to enable a shelf/batt to be placed with stability above the insulation so allowing beneficial heat circulation.

• Fitted with 76mm castors for ease of movement, with a lockable castor.
• Ready to be fired on Single Phase, or 3 phase and neutral by simply adding a link bar at the point of connection.
• Supply required single phase 63amps.
• Supply required 3 phase and Neutral 25amps per phase.

Safety features:

• Dual contactors and over temperature monitoring provide protection against overfires, when used with Potterycrafts kiln controllers.
• Side vent with chimney that can be ducted to atmosphere if required.
• Lid vent holes allow venting/cooling of the kiln during or after the firing process.
• Captive interlock safety switch, meaning the kiln will not turn on unless this is locked and in place, ensuring the highest level of safety

Includes UK Built CERA-10+ Controller:

• The controller is the latest development in a long series of controllers, they incorporate new software giving improved efficiency and ease of programming together with up-to-date safety and diagnostic features.
• CERA-10+ has 32 programs each with 32 segments, each segment comprises of a ramp speed, a targe temperature and a hold period and can be wither cooling or heating segments. This is the ultimate controller offering every option that might be required, yet can also be used in a very simple manner with ease for the most basic of firings. Ideally suited to glass and pottery applications and many scientific, industrial, heat treatment applications.
