Porcelain bodies are notoriously difficult due to their lack of plasticity and higher likelihood of cracking and warping. PF700 addresses these issues by providing a clay that is just as white and produces porcelain-like results, while maintaining the qualities of a good stoneware body.

Although it is not as translucent as porcelain, PF700 can achieve translucency in very thin cross-sections at high temperatures. Formulated from the purest, highest quality white clays, PF700 offers a porcelain-like appearance without the typical difficulties associated with working with porcelain, all at a lower cost.
