This Clear Gloss Glaze is an excellent lead-free dinnerware safe glaze which is compatible with most commercially available underglazes. Like most clear glazes it works best when applied thinly.

A food safe glaze that is perfect for unique stoneware and dishes and could be perfect for an interesting surface for sculptural work.

Best results are obtained at Cone 04/06 1190-1230°C.

Good to know:

  • For true semi-transparent results, please apply thinner (1-2 coats)
  • The thicker the glaze is applied, the darker and opaquer the finish will be.
  • Non-toxic (lead-free)– Perfect for tableware. Please follow manufacturer instructions.
  • Simple to apply for both beginners and advanced potters.
