Tiranti RTV4420 Platinum Cure Silicone Rubber Kit
RTV4420 is our most flexible Addition/Platinum cure silicone and is the replacement for Addition Cure 13. It is compatible with many pattern materials such as wood, plaster, metals and plastics. There are however some materials which are not compatible with this silicone. The cure can be inhibited by the presence of nitrogen, sulphur, phosphorus, arsenic, PVC stabilisers, epoxy resin, this includes contact with materials that contain these substances such as latex, plasticine, some ceramic clays, sulphur vulcanised rubbers, condensation cure silicones, onion and garlic (due to the sulphur content). If you are uncertain about the compatibility of your modelling material, please test a small sample before completing the project.
